Spacious and attractive, Yarling self-catering cottage is in the centre of the quiet rural village
of Gilcrux. This charming cottage
sleeps up to 4 guests comfortably, and is perfectly positioned for exploring the north and west
lakes.
Gilcrux is just 5 miles north of Cockermouth (Wordsworth's birthplace), 25 minutes
from Keswick and 10 minutes from the Solway coast. All amenities are close by, including a
restaurant, village pub, shop and laundry.

All modern facilties are provided including bed linen, towels, a television, parking for two
cars, oil fired central heating, and a microwave oven.
Short breaks are available (minimum stay, 2 days). Please enquire when booking.
Children of all ages are welcome. Changeover day can be flexible to suit your needs.
The cottage layout includes one ensuite double bedroom (bath with shower over, sink and
toilet) and one twin bedroom (separate shower, sink and toilet). The living area is open plan
with lounge, kitchen and diner.
